When I was looking for a beach to go metal detecting, I came across a beach that I had never heard of before – Chao Samran Beach. Most web sites had it listed as Haad Chao Samran or Haad Jao Samran or spelled Haad (Beach) as Hat, Haat, or Had and Chao Samran Beach as Chaosamran, Jaosamran, or Jao Samran beach. Chao Samran Beach Initially, I was planning on going a little further south to Ao Manao (Lemon/Lime Bay), but was unable to book accommodations so had to look elsewhere and happened upon Chao Samran Beach.

Tourism Authority Of Thailand Bangkok Hotel Fire Damage Control

Supposedly, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has issued a Press Release that a recent fire at a Bangkok Hotel was an isolated incident and not an act of terrorism. The reason I say “supposedly”, is that despite a flurry of news alerts in my email box, I could not find an official Press Release at the Tourism Authority of Thailand News site – tatnews.org.
